Chicago has two airports — O’Hare and Midway, and there are regularly placed taxi vehicles from different service providers readily available (or, you can use Uber/Lyft). Should you choose to rely on public transportation, trains are the best option.

Directions from O’Hare:
By Train: Take CTA Blue Line train (this is the only subway train leaving O’Hare) to the Jackson stop. Walk 0.6 miles southeast to 720 S. Michigan Ave.
By Road: Follow signs for I-190 East. Take I-190 to I-90 East. I-90 will merge with I-94. Take I-90/94 approximately 18 miles to Jackson Street. Exit Jackson Street. Drive 1/4 mile on Jackson Street, turn right on Michigan Ave. Hotel is 5 blocks down.

Directions from Midway:
By Train: When taking public transportation from Midway Airport to the Hilton Chicago take the CTA Orange Line train to the Roosevelt stop. Walk 0.5 miles north to 720 S. Michigan.
By Road: I-55 North to Chicago. North on Lakeshore Drive. West on Balbo. Hotel is 2 blocks down on left.

Getting around

The public transportation in Chicago is handled by the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority). In addition to the bus-lines running along the Michigan Ave, part of the “loop” for the CTA trains is not too far from the Hilton. More information about CTA can be found at:
